Cockroach Janta Party Nagaland (CJP Nagaland) is a work of political satire. The cockroach branding, the ranks, the member cards, the eligibility criteria and the tone of this website are all comedy. They are commentary on how young people in Nagaland and across India are spoken about and treated.
The frustrations underneath the jokes are real. The way we express them is not meant to be read literally.
We are not a registered political party
CJP Nagaland is not registered with the Election Commission of India. We do not contest elections, we do not field candidates, and we do not hold or seek public office. Nothing on this site is an election advertisement or a solicitation of votes for any candidate or party.
Becoming a “member” here does not make you a member of any registered political party, does not affect your voter registration, and carries no legal status of any kind.
We are an independent chapter, not an official body
This website is an independent, volunteer run site supporting the Cockroach Janta Party movement from Nagaland. We are not the official website of the national Cockroach Janta Party organisation, and we are not authorised to speak on its behalf. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or funded by any political party, corporation, media house, government body or individual.
The five demands published here are the movement’s widely circulated demands, reproduced because we support them. Their wording on this site is our own.
About the origin of the name
The name of this movement comes from remarks made during a Supreme Court of India hearing on 15 May 2026, which were widely reported at the time. The Chief Justice of India issued a clarification the following day stating that a section of the media had misquoted him, that his remarks concerned people practising on fake degrees, and that he holds India’s youth in high regard.
We include that clarification wherever we describe the origin of the name, because it is part of the record. Our commentary is directed at a situation, not at any individual, and nothing on this site is intended as a statement of fact about any named person’s conduct or character.

Membership, points and ranks mean nothing official
Member IDs, ranks, points and leaderboard positions are for fun and encouragement. They confer no rights, no office, no authority, no employment and no benefit of any kind. We may adjust, correct or remove entries, including where we believe someone is abusing the system.

Views expressed by individual members, in our channel or anywhere else, are their own and not necessarily ours. We are not responsible for what other people post. If something on this site is inaccurate or unfair, tell us and we will look at it properly.
Volunteer roles
The roles listed on our home page are unpaid volunteer positions in a satirical movement. They are not offers of employment, they carry no salary, contract or benefits, and no employment relationship is created by taking one on.
